In this critical role, you'll be the final checkpoint in our lens production process, ensuring each product meets our high standards and specifications.
Your Role:
As a Finish Technician, you’ll play a pivotal part in our production process. Here's what you'll do:
- Lens Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections to identify any imperfections, using precision tools to ensure they meet our exacting standards.
- Quality Enhancement: Apply polishing and buffing techniques for a flawless finish, correcting cosmetic defects and ensuring lenses are aesthetically pleasing.
- Lens Edging and Mounting: Precisely edge and mount lenses into frames, ensuring perfect alignment and fit.
- Quality Control Documentation: Keep detailed records of your processes and findings, contributing to our continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our team to solve production challenges and enhance efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep our finishing equipment in top condition, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous productivity.
- Material Handling: Manage lenses with utmost care throughout the finishing process, readying them for safe shipping.
- Safety and Compliance: Uphold our safety standards and stay up-to-date with industry regulations to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
Who You Are:
- You've gained experience in a similar lens manufacturing role, familiar with edging, mounting, and finishing processes is a plus.
- Your attention to detail is unmatched, driven by a commitment to quality.
- You're skilled in using the necessary tools and equipment for lens finishing.
- You're an effective communicator, able to collaborate seamlessly with the team.
- You possess problem-solving skills, ready to tackle any issue that arises in the finishing process.
